The Heights Frisbee loves kids!!!!!!! Yeah we do! Just take our word for it!

This section of the site is for all you young'uns out there who like to play ultimate!!! What is ultimate, you ask? Only the koolest sport in the entire universe, that's what!

All too often the noble actions and heroic deeds of children go unrewarded. With this in mind, HeightsUltimate.Tripod.com has developed the Incredible Kids Program. This program will highlight the outstanding work and sacrifice put forth by the youth of today. We are searching for examples of heroic actions, public service, or good citizenship.

We are asking children of up to 27 years of age, to write us and share their experiences.

Heights Ultimate's heart goes out to middle aged parents disguised as students, frantically trying to finish high school so that they might know more than their 11 year old daughters with IQs of 179.  If you or someone you know is a middle aged parent disguised as a high school (or elemetary school) student, please let us know, and we'll give you 20% of our school's ultimate disc budget to fund your education (of course... 20% of 0 is still 0 but hey, its the thought that counts). Go to contact us and if it is in the least witty at all, we'll post it and you'll be famous.

Legend has it that Dylan Naegele is already making elaborate and sneaky plans for who to ask to prom next year

Subject: Heights Frisbee Changed My Life

Hello to all my friends at Heights Frisbee!

I am writing to thank you for all you have done for me, for helping me turn my life around and become a happy, normal person. For all you Web surfers who dont know me, my name is Tom, 32 years old, and i live in DC. Until this March, my life had been a total disaster. and then i went to a heights frisbee game. My whole life has been a story of misfortune. Growing up, i was constantly tormented by other children because of my acute obesity and conspicuous uni-brow. i performed poorly in school, never achieving above a D on my report card. having no natural talents, i couldnt play any sports, and i soon took to the refuge of illegal drugs to occupy my time. the downward spiral of my life reached new lows when i realized that i was a compulsive hair picker* (which made me bald). i
dropped out of Wilson highschool during my junior year because of my poor grades and anger management issues, and started sleeping on a bench in Rock creek park.

And then i found the guys of Heights Frisbee

i had been roving the grounds of the Heights High School, looking for some tacos, when i stumbled upon a plastic disc on the ground. A pack of athletic, popular students ran over to me and said "thanks mister, you found our frisbee." the gang then resumed their game of ultimate frisbee. i stood watching, speechless. The majestic teamwork and athleticism of the players awoke something in me that i had never felt before. i felt empowered! i quickly embarked on a dramatic turn-around. i got a job at a wendys and saved enough in 4 days to buy a small townhouse in dc. i began exercising, first by bouncing frisbee against the side of the garage, then escalating to running marathons. since then, i have lost over 430 lbs and am a reknowned fitness celebrity. i gave up drugs and alcohol, and went back to high school to get a diploma. i graduated from Wilson Sr. High last week after 5 weeks of intense schooling, discovering cures for several kinds of cancer in the process. i made it a point to attend every Heights frisbee event, and that is where i met the love of my life, Brenda, a fellow fan of ultimate. she cured my compulsive hair-pickery once and for all with her passion for frisbee. brenda and i were married at the heights chapel last sunday. our first child is due in 9 months.
thank you, heights frisbee, you have made me the happiest man alive!!
without you, none of this would have been possible.

And If your kids do get hurt, it'll be in a bleeding sorta way, and not our fault, at all.
